Las Vegas's Plumber — from Summerlin to Sunrise Manor
Mojave Flow Plumbing serves the fastest-growing county in America with the work desert homes actually need: water heater replacement, drain & sewer cleaning, slab leak repair, and full repipes. We know Lake Mead's famously hard water — about 16 grains per gallon — the caliche under your slab, and what 115°F summers do to plumbing.

Plumbing services in Las Vegas, NV
Clark County adds roughly 40,000 new residents a year, and its plumbing runs from 1950s ranch homes near downtown to brand-new Summerlin West builds. One thing ties almost all of it together: water hard enough to chew through a water heater in eight years, and ground tough enough to fight back. We cover the full range.
Water Heaters
Traditional tank and tankless water heater repair, replacement, and descale service. Las Vegas's 16 gpg water and softener ecosystem demand real maintenance — we do it right.
Water heater service →Drain & Sewer
Drain cleaning, sewer camera inspections, and trenchless repair. Grease, hard-water scale, and tree roots in mature central-valley neighborhoods are the usual suspects.
Drain & sewer service →Slab Leaks
Electronic leak detection and repair for pipes under slab-on-grade foundations — caliche layers, expansive desert clay, and hard-water corrosion make this our signature Vegas job.
Slab leak repair →Repiping
Whole-home repipes in PEX or copper, routed through attics the Las Vegas way. Valley tract homes with polybutylene (roughly 1978–1995) or pinhole-leaking copper are prime candidates.
Repiping →Emergency & Fixtures
Burst pipes in a rare freeze, water heater failures on 115°F days, running toilets, seized shut-off valves — plus planned fixture installs. Fast, tidy, casino-punctual.
Emergency plumbing →Water Quality Help
Las Vegas tap water runs about 16 grains per gallon — officially "very hard." Ask about softeners, filtration, and protecting fixtures and heaters when we come out.

The Las Vegas Valley is a bowl of sand, silt, and caliche — a cemented calcium-carbonate layer common across the valley floor — with pockets of expansive desert clay that swell when they get wet and shrink when they dry. Nearly every home here sits on a concrete slab-on-grade (many post-tensioned), with copper supply lines embedded in or running beneath that slab. Water your landscaping against the foundation, a supply line sweats, or monsoon runoff pools in one corner, and that clay moves — grinding pipes against concrete and caliche. That's the Vegas slab leak recipe — and it's unlike the soil problems you'd see in soft-water, basement-country markets.
Then there's the water itself. Roughly 90% of the valley's supply is Colorado River water drawn from Lake Mead, treated at the Southern Nevada Water Authority's Alfred Merritt Smith and River Mountains water treatment plants, with a minority blend of local groundwater. SNWA's latest consumer confidence report puts total hardness at about 280 mg/L — 16 grains per gallon, squarely "very hard" — with total dissolved solids near 600 ppm and chloramine used as the disinfectant. Dissolved calcium bakes onto heating elements, chokes aerators, pits faucet cartridges, and shortens water heater life. Which is exactly why water softeners are near-universal in Vegas garages — and why protecting that softener is protecting every other fixture in the house.
- Summerlin & Sun City Summerlin experience. Attic water heaters, HOA coordination, and the 1990s–2000s build wave now hitting its second round of replacements.
- Caliche-slab diagnostics. Acoustic and thermal detection tuned for desert soil — we locate before we cut, and we locate tendons before we core a post-tension slab.
- Softener-aware service. We descale tankless units, service softener valves, and check bypasses on every water heater visit.
- Valley-wide coverage. 89101 through 89183 — Summerlin, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Paradise, Sunrise Manor, Centennial Hills, Mountains Edge, Skye Canyon, and more.
