Whole-Home Repiping in Las Vegas, NV

Gray polybutylene in a 1988 Paradise tract home. Copper with its third pinhole leak in Sunrise Manor. If your Las Vegas house is asking for a repipe, we'll tell you straight — and do it in days, not weeks.

Two Las Vegas homes need repipes most

Polybutylene era (roughly 1978–1995): thousands of valley tract homes — especially in Paradise, Spring Valley, Sunrise Manor, and the east side — were plumbed with gray "poly" pipe and acetal fittings. It degrades from the inside, fails without warning inside walls and under slabs, and most insurers know exactly what it is. If you're in a home of that vintage and don't know your pipe material, a $0 look during any service visit is worth it.

Pinhole-leaking copper: in 16 gpg water, copper supply lines can develop pinhole leaks well before their time — particularly where water sits hot and stagnant, or where caliche and expansive soil grind against buried runs. One pinhole is a repair. Two or three in eighteen months is a system telling you it's done.

The Vegas way: reroute through the attic

Because almost everything here is slab-on-grade, Las Vegas repipes rarely fight the concrete. We abandon failing under-slab lines and run new PEX (or copper, if you prefer) through the attic and down interior walls — the standard valley approach. It's faster than slab surgery, it isolates your home from the soil problems that caused the failures in the first place, and it pairs naturally with water-heater work and softener installation while we're in the walls. Typical homes finish in one to three days with water back on every evening.

What a repipe includes

  • Full material survey and a fixed, per-bathroom quote — no allowances games
  • New supply lines, shut-off valves at every fixture, and a new main shut-off
  • Surgical drywall cuts, patched and textured to match; floors protected, daily cleanup
  • Pressure test, flushing, and a walkthrough before we call it done
  • Softener and filtration tie-ins planned from day one if you want them

Most quotes land same-day; repipes usually scheduled within two weeks.

Pair it: since repipes open the walls anyway, most Vegas owners add a water softener or whole-home filter on the same job — one mobilization, one patch cycle, and your new pipes start life protected from 16 gpg water.
